  REMINDERS: School is closed this Friday, April 30, 2021 for the Late Spring Holiday.   All students must wear masks to school.  All students are to utilize clear or mesh bookbags.  School will be closed on May 30, 2021 for Memorial Day.   The last day for students is June 4, 2021 If your scholar is missing work, please contact the teacher for information on how to get missing assignments turned in.   The Read and Dream Program  leverages the power of sight word rich story collections with well loved characters, Pete the Cat, Big Dog and Little Dog, Elephant and Piggie, and Five Little Monkeys.  Students in PreK through 2nd grade can receive as many as 17 stories, depending on the reading level information that parents give us when they sign up. The BCS Registration portal is now open.  Please go to the Birmingham City Schools website to enter the portal and complete the registration process.   Registration portal The Parent Engagement Spring Survey is also on the Birmingham City Schools website.  We need at least 98 parents to complete the survey.  The results of this survey help guide the school as we enlighten and engage parents at R. C.
