Chromebook Return

Please be reminded that all Chromebooks must be returned to Hemphill for check in and if you have registered your students for the 2021-22 school year, they will be checked back out to you for summer usage. Parents, you may have begun the registration process, but it must be completed (all documentation turned in) prior to your scholar being able to take the Chromebooks back home for the summer.

The return of Chromebooks also applies to students who are learning virtually and, check in/out can be done daily at the back of the school by the gym door where Mr. Jones (Technology Coordinator) will be waiting.   Chromebooks will only be re-issued if the 2021-22 registration process is complete.

Hello!  If you have your BCS issued laptops at home, please return them to the school. If you already turned in your BCS issued laptops we will be re-issuing them in the next couple of weeks.  Scholars will need their laptops for use during the school year.   Diagnostic testing will begin next week, so the scholars really need these to do their work.  Thanks parents! If your scholar is not feeling well with a fever, please do not send them to school.  If they have a fever, remember, they cannot come back to school until they have been fever free for 24 hours without the use fever-reducing aids like Motrin or Tylenol.

Useful Reminders for Hemphill Parents and Community

  REMINDERS: School is closed this Friday, April 30, 2021 for the Late Spring Holiday.   All students must wear masks to school.  All students are to utilize clear or mesh bookbags.  School will be closed on May 30, 2021 for Memorial Day.   The last day for students is June 4, 2021 If your scholar is missing work, please contact the teacher for information on how to get missing assignments turned in.
